The face that launched a thousand s--ts
Edit:

The final package arrived today, from Dallas/Maxim Semiconductors. And I ordered myself one of these.

Today, while I was at work, I was fiddling with the piece of metal while reading a test document, and casually doing my work. Suddenly I looked up and realised I had absent mindedly jammed the peice of metal into the floppy drive of my computer! I'm never going to live this down.
I'm sure someone else besides me has noticed the unusually warm weather we have been having lately. Auckland in particular (I'm not too sure about any other city) almost seems to have become tropical. The weather and temperatures we have been having lately are very similar to the ones places such as Fiji often experience at the end of the rainy-season. The temperature gauge in the dining room of my house read 31 degrees celcius this afternoon when I arrived home. And this was *after* I'd opened all the windows and doors! My school has no airconditiong and this morning it was actually hotter outside than it was inside.
First Winter and Summer seemed to have become one season, and now we're experiencing tropical storms and unusually high temperatures.
I wonder what the weather holds in store for us next...
On the above date, Reel Big Fish will be releasing their new album. It is called "We're Not Happy Til You're Not Happy". I'm so excited. So this is the first comic I've done in a while... But boy is it a good one. I was quite impressed by the way I made a topical joke - No offence Dom! I've got a couple of good ideas brewing as well, and, even though it was brought up ages ago, I’ve been inspired by our entry on the http://www.thewebcomiclist.com/. Yep, Ii'm planning on doing a lot more comics. I’ve been pretty bad recently. But make sure you stick around, and check the site often.
In other news, I’m planning out how I’m going to attach the new joysticks to my new control panel – I got them to cut it out on the plasma cutter at work. I just need to make an adapter plate so I can mount the joysticks in, and we’ll be away. I’ll try and get some photos for your viewing pleasure.
In my spare time, I’m mixing the These Four Walls Ep. I’ve done about 3 songs out of 7 so far. Its sounding really really good. Once I’ve finished the mixing, maybe in a week or two, we’ll be heading back to Earwig Studios to do the mastering.
A serious drop off in statistics recently? Hardly ever anyone else on at the same time as you? Perhaps everyone is avoiding you? Perhaps everyone is just avoiding me...
Well it seems that my life goal of becoming a paid musician has been achieved. Here I am, once again, sitting at work in the middle of the night being paid to play my guitar while waiting for the phone to ring. The audience is attentive, albeit rather quiet, and they don't seem to mind when I fuck things up, if I decide to play the same song several times, or if I just give up on a song halfway through. Perhaps I should have put more conditions on achieving this particular goal...
For those of you who don't know, I went down to Pauanui for a weekend of mountain biking and just generally chilling out. I really did need to get away, but I didn’t realise how badly I needed it until I went. Oh man, just doing nothing all day was sooooo good. And, as some of you may have guessed, we had some drinking adventures as well.
One thing that I didn’t expect was how hard the mountain biking would be. Down there, there is a lot more mountain, and a lot less biking. Where I usually go, the hills are just undulating, but down there, oh man, I swear the whole place was up hill.
Anyways, I’m doing more of the T4W mixing, and I’ve done 4 out of 7 songs. Its getting a lot easier now. But for now back to work.
Was just wondering what is happening with the MX2 site. It seems to have taken a halt - and I think thats a shame cause a battle with music is a good idea.
(Prolly get rejected, but I was just wondering whats the haps are with it)

So I'm just packing everything into my rack for the T4W trip to Te Awamutu! I'm taking my gameboy for the car ride down, and I'll probably need it to distract me while the band guys get with groupies in the same motel room tonight. Everything I need is going in my rack case. I am so awesome, the rest of the band should be like me, and have rack mounted everything.

This year they've introduced a website in which you can sign up and have oyur own Online Famine Book, which allow your friends and family, from all over the world to pledge (sponsor you) an amount of money, to give you for doing the famine.
Check out my booklet, and check out the site. Because by sponsoring me you will be helping others around the world who are living in crisis situations.
If you sponsor me i'll sponsor you back!
Thanks to those who have sponsored me already from SE! (Blair, Chicken and funkymunky)
THAT BEDPACK IS F**KIN' ARSE!
For many of you, you probably don't know who Seawolf actually is, but anyway, those of you that do know can tell the others:-) Anyway, its probably a HUGE surprise to even see me submit some news. Well, we got some town leave today (off RNZAF Recruit Course R1/05), and would you believe it, there is an internet cafe in Blenheim haha.
I apologise for the spelling, but I dopn;t have much time, if I miss the bus back to base, I'll get charged and have to paint curbs for a week probably! (I'm not kidding) The For those who know what I'm talkin' about, the headline reflects the mian remark givin' out during our inspections every morning, yep, EVERY morning. Get up 5.30am, not that bad, but, you spend the next 40 minutes dusting, making bedpacks, ironing and anything else. IF the your bedspace is shit in the dormitory, then your going to get shafted good style! I'm freaked out I'm gonna get it pretty soon (it WILL happen, I'll screw up somthing huge, like have a piece of dust on my pillow, or under the paper in the bottom of my drawers!
I'm still shit at shooting the Steyr and stuff, the only thing I was kind of good at was the double tap, standing, 13/15, 32/40 for the rest, and thats only on a 25m range!!! We just started on the C9 LSW (M249 SAW, or Minimi for others).
I was in Hospiltal for a night of observation last Saturday as I was concussed during PT (gumby cunt I am), so yeah pretty pissed of about that, got tonnes of wounds and bruises, it is BLOOD, SWEAT and TEARS haha. Man, I miss THE ROCK and T4W heaps. We are in a blank spot for the Rock which is CRAP, luckily I have my CD's and a CD player (GASP!)
Oh well, I gotta sign off now, gotta get some hair spray (for ironing - awesome creases!) and washing liquid and polish for my boots and if I'm lucky I might get more time later to post something else if Justin and Dom let me! IF i'm lucky and not a heap of shit in the next 7 weeks I just might pass the course and be back in Auckland on April the 20th:-)
Signing off - OUT
