This may not be a huge news item, but it's all about quality, not quantity, right? I was bumbling around TradeMe when I came across this. I particularly liked the "86k in a 50 zone". Seems very proud of that - he even mentioned it on the other guy's feedback page too. Gutts.

Meilad's an idiot. I wouldn't worry too much. And I doubt he could've got around that corner at 86km...I can't even do it at 30km

I don't think it's precisely that particular corner. Considering that there's a fixed speed camera like 300m from there, he probably meant that.

And yes, 86k around the Blakeborough Dr corner is pretty much a physical impossibility.

I don't know - I've seen the cops waiting around there for people who think they're safe until they get to the speed cam.

Can someone who lives nearby get a digital photo for those of us who can't remember what it looks like?

what a crackup. meilad is the biggest dropnuts in the north island. challenged me to a race last year and wussed out as usual. can't handle alcohol, but sells his mcdonald's shirt and hat on trademe. Oh yeah, in some messed up agreement we drew up on the inside cover of his math book in study class last year, he has to give me $10 every year he doesn't have a gf, and i have to give him $10 for every gf he has. So far he owes me $10.
